We write it when it is the right answer, and we have written it. A project built without a real need stops after a few months, and that is worse for us than never having built it.
Does the consultation include selecting a vendor?
It includes the selection criteria and the questions to put to vendors, and reading their proposals against a single document — so they are compared on what is written rather than on what is said in a meeting.
How long does it take?
It depends on the number of procedures reviewed and the number of sessions, and it is set out in the proposal.
